Prayer Letter

Today is one of my favourite days of the year - Pancake Day, where I try to eat pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We have had lots of exciting things going on at The Hub recently and here are some of the highlights!

Trip to South Africa - A team of 8 from the hub went out to South Africa at the end of February! We spent a week with Soul Action South Africa, a charity that The Hub supports. During this week we visited other charities and projects supported by Soul Action and were able to find out what they were doing and why they did it. Many of these people were hugely inspiring and it was amazing to spend time with them. We then finished off the week by going on Safari. It was a very successful trip, with everyone coming back saying they had learnt lots.

A highlight for me was talking to people who were passionate about making a difference in their area of expertise and seeing the ripple effects of their actions. They were not only impacting the people they were working with, but generations of people to come through education and the teaching of skills. It was a privilege to encourage them to keep going with this!

Please pray for the team as they process what they learnt and use it to impact what they're doing now they are home.

New family members - On Valentines Day, the hub family grew that little bit bigger with the arrival of Milo Teall. Jenny and Howard are a huge part of the family here and we're so excited that we have another baby to give big cuddles to!

Please keep praying for them as they adjust to being a family of 3. Also we are making meals for them, so if you would like to be involved in this, let us know!

Alpha - We have been running our latest Alpha course for quite a few weeks now and have a core group of 4 people coming along each week. Helen is doing an incredible job of leading this course, having come to the hub through one of our previous courses. Who knows what this group will end up doing in the future...

Please keep Helen and this group in your prayers, particularly for one who is very new to the idea of Christianity and church!

Coming up - Coming up during March, we have the last 4 sessions of the Alpha course, our first infant baptisms at the morning community and a few guest speakers at the evening community!

Thanks again for your support and prayers - they're invaluable to us!
